Know what your peers pay before you buy new software. Get real benchmark pricing data with License Logic and start every negotiation with real data.

Every SaaS purchase made without real benchmark data is a price your vendor set for you.
From evaluating a new tool to locking in fair terms at renewal, three steps that put market data on your side of the table.
Before you evaluate a new tool, see what companies your size actually paid for it. Access real contract data for 100+ most popular SaaS vendors, so your anchor is set before the first conversation.
Vendors build AI bundling, enterprise-tier defaults, and seat minimums into first quotes by design. Pricing Intelligence unpacks what is driving the number before you respond.
Walk into every vendor conversation with specific target price & real usage data when you renew.

We’re not just building software – we’re solving the problem we lived through as
leaders working at mid-market companies.
License Logic was founded in 2024 by Joel Hereth who spent years managing bloated SaaS portfolios at high-growth companies. After manually tracking renewals in spreadsheets, negotiating contracts without usage data, and watching millions in waste slip through the cracks, he knew there had to be a better way.
We built License Logic to be the system we wished we’d had – a single platform that automatically tracks every license, surfaces optimization opportunities, and gives you the data you need to negotiate with confidence.
Today, we help companies in industries such as staffing, marketing, accounting manage $50m in SaaS spend, and have less than 5% churn with average customer has been with us for 2-years.
We know you’re trusting us with sensitive contract data. Security and compliance aren’t add-ons
– they’re built into everything we do.

See what similar companies are paying for the same tools you use. Negotiate from knowledge, not guesswork.
Everything you need to know what a tool should cost and negotiate from data, not the vendor's first number.
Software pricing intelligence is knowing what other companies actually pay for the same tools before you sign or renew. It replaces the vendor's opening quote, which is almost never the best price, with real benchmark data. You walk into every negotiation knowing the market rate, the typical discount, and where you have room to push.
Benchmarking compares your quote against what similar companies pay for the same product, at a similar size and tier. The useful comparison is not the list price. It is the real, negotiated price peers land on after discounts. Good benchmark data accounts for company size, seat count, contract length, and the exact edition you are buying, because each one moves the number.
Start with the benchmark range for your company size and the tool's tier, then compare your current or quoted price against it. If you sit above the median, you have leverage to renegotiate. Pair the benchmark with your own real usage data, because a fair price on seats nobody uses is still waste. The right target is the market rate for the seats you actually need.
Most of the leverage in a renewal comes from timing and information. Bring the benchmark to the table 60 to 90 days before the renewal date, while you still have time to walk. Show the vendor where their quote sits against the market. Gartner notes that teams who coordinate can capture 30 to 40 percent in savings, and benchmark data is what makes that conversation concrete.
Spend management tells you what you spent. Pricing intelligence tells you what you should have spent. One is a rear-view mirror on invoices; the other is forward-looking leverage for the next negotiation. License Logic connects both, so the price you benchmark sits right next to the usage and contract data behind it.
License Logic shows you benchmark pricing next to your real usage and your contract terms in one place. You see what peers pay, what you actually use, and when each renewal lands, so the negotiation is grounded in data instead of the vendor's first number. For a typical 250-person company, unmanaged software spend runs about $180K a year in overspend. Benchmarks are how you take that back.
SaaS pricing intelligence is benchmark data that shows what similar companies are actually paying for the same tools you use. Rather than walking into a renewal negotiation with only the vendor's proposed price, you have a reference point based on real peer transactions — broken down by company size, seat count, and contract tier. That data shifts the negotiation from a conversation about what the vendor wants to one grounded in what the market supports.
License Logic aggregates anonymised pricing data from a pool of mid-market companies managing their SaaS spend through the platform. No individual company's pricing is ever visible to another. What you see is a benchmarked range — median, low, and high — for a given tool at your company size and seat count. The more customers contribute data for a given tool, the tighter and more reliable that range becomes.
License Logic surfaces benchmark data as part of a negotiation brief for each upcoming renewal — showing your current per-seat price against the peer median, and flagging the gap as a savings opportunity. Combined with your actual usage data from License Management and the renewal timeline from Contract Management, you walk into the conversation knowing what you pay, what you use, and what the market supports. That combination gives you a concrete and defensible basis to request a discount or push back on a proposed increase.
Benchmark data is refreshed continuously as new contract and renewal data flows into the platform from across the customer base. Each benchmark shows when it was last updated, so you can assess its recency before using it in a negotiation. For high-volume tools like Salesforce, Slack, and Microsoft 365, the data pool is large enough that benchmarks reflect current market pricing rather than historical averages.
Yes — and this is where pricing intelligence becomes significantly more useful than a standalone benchmark tool. License Logic combines peer pricing data with your actual seat utilization from License Management and your renewal timeline from Contract Management to produce a complete negotiation brief for each vendor. You see what you pay, what you use, what peers pay, and how many days you have left to act — all in one place, before the renewal window closes.
Pricing benchmarks are available for the most widely used SaaS tools in mid-market stacks — including Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Slack, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Adobe, GitHub, and others. Coverage expands as the customer base grows and more contract data flows in. During onboarding, License Logic will confirm which tools in your portfolio have benchmark data available and flag those where peer coverage is still building.
No. Access to benchmark data is included as part of your License Logic subscription and does not require you to submit your own contract pricing in exchange. When you import contracts into the platform, that data does contribute to the anonymised benchmark pool over time — but this is not a condition of access, and your individual pricing is never visible to any other customer.
Yes. Your contract pricing, vendor terms, and negotiation outcomes are never shared with or visible to other License Logic customers. Any contribution your data makes to the anonymised benchmark pool is aggregated and stripped of identifying information before it is used. License Logic is GDPR compliant, and our SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress, and your contract data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Full security documentation is available on request.
